I thought about this image a lot before painting it. In fact for a couple of months it was in my mind but when I came to paint it there was such joy in the process. It challenged me to increase my skills and expand my limitations. I am really pleased with the result which I feel brings the ocean to life as the waves dance and crash across the canvas.
